Well, since the dawn of time well I guess MySpace era, maybe even early more like live journal I have had a web presence there for it is not odd to me to be able to search my name on google and find my image popping up.
People say that you can not trust a person if they do not have a web identity. I guess you can say you can trust me a lot. When I googled myself my online presence filled 2 pages from LinkedIn to the daughtersofhanford.com website. which I guess is good that LinkedIn is first, because well I really like people to check that out my resume and portfolio instead of my personal pages. I normally google myself every year to see if there is any websites I don't use that I should delete. The reason why is because well you just never know if someone else is using your identity online too. In the past I have found people to steal my images and use them for whatever they needed it for, dating sites, Facebook, and pretty much anything that needs a profile picture.. which sucks but it happens and its a pain to fight them if you don't have multiple social media accounts saying you are the person you say you are.
