Ideas for Project 2

alright so Project 2 is about Tactical Media. Which in lamens terms is media activism. I think my issue on this project might be a tough one for me only because well right now I'm kinda lacking creativity, I'm stuck on thinking about what bugs me and what needs to change in the world. So I want this project to be good, and I want my heart in it but I'm just struggling.. honestly I am lost and it is showing in my work and I don't know how to get out of it.. so this is me trying..

a few thoughts I have had on this project are

on campus.. in the park.. maybe the finger nail.. When I think about the finger nail I kind of want to get a projector..

.. How will I display this?
so Projector  possibly or maybe I could find a way to take over the campus tvs and have it display words or images and in away be subliminal messaging.

..What do I believe in?

... what am I passionate about?
I am passionate about teaching kids coding, pushing the younger generation in to creating their own digital pieces instead of having them use apps to create it for them.

bullies are mean. Im all for the whole going against beauty standards.

I have thought about creating a piece to display the ugliness of media and how it can corrupt us subconsciously.



Designs for Project 1


This was an idea before I finally decided to just use a fact, I chose a fact over an emotional statement because some times facts are more persuasive especially for those over logical people.

Billboard: I created this because one if I was driving down the highway and see a billboard that is meant to grab a persons attention with a confused shock factor. 

This is the magazine ad I created for this project. I wanted to present this as if it was in a woman's magazine. I wanted the ad to feel like its telling a girls story of growing up before being taken. 


Project 1 ideas

When I first started thinking about this project I really wanted to do something that pushed the boundaries yet effected me personally and many people in the world.

 My original idea was to create an ad campaign about Adult survivors of child abuse. As the project due date grew closer and as I was working on it I realized that this subject was too close to home and I was not mentally and emotionally ready to create an ad campaign for this. I know it would have been something compelling and you would have been able to see the heart in the project but I wasn't ready to put it out there to present it in front of people that don't know how this subject effects me so I changed my project to become an ad campaign that will make viewers become aware of human trafficking.

I decided to go with a billboard, a web banner, and magazine ad.
